Day 1
Nairobi – Nanyuki – Sirimon Gate – Judmier Camp (Old Moses Camp)

We depart Nairobi at 07:00 AM and drive north towards Nanyuki before continuing to Sirimon Gate, located at approximately 2,440m. After registration and preparations at the gate, begin your trek along a steadily rising track through the montane forest.
As you gain altitude, the forest gradually gives way to bamboo and heath vegetation, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. After approximately 3½ hours of trekking, the trail branches towards Judmier Camp, also known as Old Moses Camp, at 3,300m. Arrive at camp in time to relax and settle in for the night.

Day 2

After breakfast, continue your ascent along the mountain trail, following the track uphill before taking the left fork. Approximately one hour after leaving Old Moses Camp, cross the Ontulili River and continue through the beautiful alpine moorland.
The trail contours across the slopes before crossing the Liki North River and gradually climbs towards the dramatic Mackinder Valley. As you approach the valley, enjoy spectacular panoramic views towards Mount Kenya's main peaks.
Continue to Shipton Camp, situated at approximately 4,200m, where you will have dinner and spend the night surrounded by the breathtaking high-altitude landscape.
Day 3

Today is dedicated to acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the high altitude before the summit attempt.
After breakfast, take an acclimatization walk towards Kami Hut and continue towards the beautiful Hauseberg Lakes, including Hauseberg Tarn and Nanyuki Tarn. The walk provides an opportunity to experience the spectacular alpine scenery while gradually adapting to the altitude.
After exploring the area, return to Shipton Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Rest well in preparation for the early-morning summit attempt the following day.

Day 4
Shipton Camp – Point Lenana – Mintos Hut – Mount Meru Bandasi

Wake up at approximately 03:00 AM and begin the challenging summit ascent. Trek up a steep, stony trail that climbs towards Point Lenana, the highest trekking summit on Mount Kenya at 4,985m.
The climb takes approximately three hours, with the trail passing through the rocky alpine terrain and offering increasingly impressive views as you approach the summit. Arrive at Point Lenana at around 06:30 AM in time to witness the spectacular sunrise over the surrounding landscape.
After enjoying the sunrise and taking in the panoramic views, begin your descent towards Mintos Hut, where you will stop for breakfast. Continue descending through the mountain's scenic landscapes towards Mount Meru Bandas at approximately 2,950m.
Arrive at the Bandas, where you can relax after the demanding summit day before enjoying dinner and spending the night.

Day 5
Mount Meru Bandas – Chogoria – Nairobi
Mount Meru Bandas – Chogoria – Nairobi
After breakfast, begin your final descent from Mount Meru Bandas. Trek for approximately two hours through the forest towards the forest clearance, where you will meet your 4×4 transfer vehicle.
Continue by 4×4 to Chogoria Village, where you will connect with your transfer vehicle for the journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside before arriving in Nairobi, marking the end of your Mount Kenya trekking adventure.
