Arusha Airport Flight to Central Serengeti & Game Drive

Your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha for a transfer to Arusha Airport, where you will board a domestic flight to Seronera Airstrip in Central Serengeti. Upon arrival, you will board a safari vehicle to begin an afternoon game drive across the savannah plains. This area features grasslands and acacia woodlands that support a high density of wildlife.
​You will spend the afternoon exploring the plains and rocky kopjes, looking for resident lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You can also see herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and impalas. After the game drive and a picnic lunch, you will drive to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Central Serengeti Game Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Explore more of the spectacular Central Serengeti plains during an extensive game drive designed to catch resident wildlife during their active periods. The Seronera Valley serves as a vital wildlife corridor, attracting a magnificent variety of plains game and active predators due to its permanent water sources. You will cross open grasslands to track massive buffalo herds, topis, and pods of hippos wallowing in the bustling pools.

​After a rewarding wildlife viewing session and a scenic picnic lunch out in the wild savanna, you will begin a beautiful en-route game drive heading south out of the park. You will cross the magnificent plains and ascend into the lush, green highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive at your camp or lodge on the crater rim for a relaxing evening, a hot dinner, and a peaceful overnight rest.

Ngorongoro Crater Floor Exploration to Arusha

Depart after breakfast and drive to descend onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor. This volcanic caldera functions as a nature reserve hosting a high density of large mammals. Your game drive offers an opportunity to look for the Big Five, including the black rhino roaming the plains.
​You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls. You will then drive back to Arusha town for a drop-off at your hotel or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your safari.
