Upon arrival at your hotel or Kigali International Airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide for a briefing about the tour. Begin your scenic drive through Rwanda's rolling hills towards the Uganda border.

After completing border formalities, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy spectacular views of terraced hills, rural communities, and lush vegetation along the way. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon or evening, check in, and relax while preparing for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned a habituated gorilla family and guided through the rules and expectations for the trek.

Enter the dense rainforest and begin your search for the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas' movements. Along the way, enjoy sightings of forest birds, monkeys, and unique plant species.

Once you locate the gorillas, spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch them feed, groom, play, and interact within their family group while capturing memorable photographs.

After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 3

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel through the famous Ishasha Sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions.

Keep an eye out for wildlife as you drive through the park, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and, with luck, the famous lions resting in fig trees. Continue to your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the afternoon.

Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views of the savannah wilderness.

Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is known for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, and lions.

Return to the lodge for lunch before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and hosts one of Africa's highest concentrations of hippos.

During the cruise, you may spot crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species gathering along the shoreline.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a final game drive as you exit the park. This provides another opportunity to spot wildlife and capture photographs of Uganda's stunning landscapes.

Afterward, begin the journey back to Kigali through southwestern Uganda and Rwanda's beautiful countryside. Arrive in Kigali in the late afternoon or evening and transfer to your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
