Day 1

Nairobi - Hell's Gate National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a viewpoint for photographs. Arrive at Hell's Gate National Park and begin your adventure with a guided cycling safari through the park's open plains. Spot zebras, giraffes, gazelles, warthogs and buffalo as you ride beneath the towering cliffs and volcanic formations. Continue with a guided walk through sections of the park and visit Fischer's Tower and the scenic gorge area. Hell's Gate is one of the few parks in Kenya where visitors can explore on foot and by bicycle among wildlife. After lunch proceed to Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride to view hippos and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Naivasha.

After breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. The park is renowned for its population of black and white rhinos. Rothschild's giraffe, lions, leopards, buffaloes and over 450 bird species. Visit Baboon Cliff and enjoy panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. As the sun sets, continue exploring the acacia woodlands and lake shore areas before heading to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru.

Enjoy an early morning game drive for another opportunity to spot rhinos and predators while wildlife is most active. Return for breakfast and depart for the Maasai Mara, travelling through the scenic Rift Valley and Narok town. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. Later embark on an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains of the Maasai Mara. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes and the reserve's famous predators including lions and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunches for a full day game drive in the Maasai Mara. Explore different sections of the reserve including the Mara river region where crocodiles and hippos thrive. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of wildebeests and zebras across from the Serengeti into the Mara. The reserve is also home to the Big Five and offers some of Africa's finest wildlife viewing opportunities. Enjoy lunch in the wilderness before continuing your search for wildlife throughout the afternoon. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
