Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey South through the open plains towards Amboseli. Along the way, enjoy views of rural Kenya and, weather permitting, your first glimpse of the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the horizon.

Arrive at Nyati Safari Camp in time for lunch and check-in. Set in a peaceful environment close to the park, the camp offers a comfortable and authentic safari atmosphere where guests can relax before their afternoon adventure.

Later, venture into Amboseli for your first game drive across the park’s vast plains, swamps, and acacia-dotted landscapes. Keep watch for the park’s famous elephant herds, as well as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a rich variety of birdlife. Throughout the afternoon, Mount Kilimanjaro provides a breathtaking backdrop to your wildlife encounters.

Return to camp before sunset for dinner and a relaxed evening beneath the African stars, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Final Amboseli Safari Experience & Return to Nairobi

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive across the plains of Amboseli, when the cool morning temperatures make wildlife particularly active. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate Mt. Kilimanjaro, enjoy one of the park's most spectacular sights while searching for the park's wildlife beginning their day.

Return to camp for breakfast before checking out and heading back into the park for a final adventure. Explore Amboseli's diverse landscapes with further opportunities to encounter the park's famous elephant herds and abundant birdlife.

Later, enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill, one of Amboseli's most scenic viewpoints. From here, take in sweeping panoramas of the park's wetlands, wildlife-rich plains, and the majestic silhouette of Mt. Kilimanjaro rising beyond the horizon.

After lunch with enroute game drive, exit the park and head back to Nairobi. Arrive in the evening with unforgettable memories of Amboseli's wildlife, landscapes, and remarkable views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
