Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari representative who will assist you with your luggage and provide a brief introduction to your upcoming safari adventure. After completing the arrival formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for relaxation and overnight stay.

Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful surroundings along the shores of Lake Victoria, or take an optional visit to nearby attractions such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, local craft markets, or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. This is an ideal opportunity to recover from your journey and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

After breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, you will meet your safari guide and begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, home to the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The scenic drive takes you through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, characterized by rolling hills, traditional villages, lush tea plantations, and fertile farmlands. A lunch stop will be made en route before continuing to the park.

As you approach Kibale, the landscape becomes greener and more forested, offering a preview of the rich biodiversity that awaits. The park is famous for its population of chimpanzees and other primates, making it one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing amidst the tranquil natural surroundings. You may choose to take a short nature walk around the lodge or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before settling in for the night.

After an early morning briefing at Kibale Forest National Park headquarters, you will set off into the forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will trek through the tropical rainforest while learning about the park's diverse flora and fauna. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, play, groom, and interact with one another.

After the chimpanzee trekking experience, continue to the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This community-managed wetland is renowned for its rich biodiversity and is home to various monkey species, colorful birds, butterflies, and unique plant life. The walk also provides an opportunity to learn about local conservation efforts and community projects.

Following lunch, depart Kibale and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey offers beautiful views of the crater lakes region, overnight stay.
