Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe and a scenic drive northwards through Uganda’s countryside towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot, offering a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.
After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most diverse national park. En route, visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile River squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 43 meters below, creating a breathtaking display of power and beauty. Take time to enjoy the views and capture memorable photographs.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, where you will explore vast savannah plains rich in wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, warthogs, and, if lucky, leopards as they roam freely in their natural habitat. The drive also offers excellent opportunities for birdwatching and photography while enjoying the park’s beautiful landscapes.
After lunch at the lodge, embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the River Nile towards the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the way, observe large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds along the riverbanks. The cruise culminates with spectacular views of the falls and the powerful Nile waters before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Later, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive passes through scenic rolling hills, terraced landscapes, and rural communities of southwestern Uganda. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, and relax in preparation for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi.

After the experience, receive your trekking certificate and enjoy lunch before transferring to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in the evening and check in at your lakeside lodge. Enjoy a stop at the Equator crossing for photographs, refreshments, and the chance to purchase souvenirs. After lunch en route, continue your drive to Entebbe, arriving in the late afternoon or evening depending on traffic conditions. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight or dropped off at your preferred location in Entebbe, marking the end of an unforgettable safari filled with wildlife encounters, gorilla trekking, stunning landscapes, and lasting memories of Uganda, the Pearl of Africa.
