Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe and a scenic drive northwards through Uganda’s countryside towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot, offering a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.

After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most diverse national park. Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, where you will explore vast savannah plains rich in wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, warthogs, and, if lucky, leopards as they roam freely in their natural habitat. The drive also offers excellent opportunities for birdwatching and photography while enjoying the park’s beautiful landscapes.

After lunch at the lodge, embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the River Nile towards the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the way, observe large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds along the riverbanks. After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Descend into the lush forested gorge in search of habituated chimpanzees while also spotting monkeys, birds, and unique vegetation. The trek offers a thrilling contrast between the dense rainforest and surrounding savannah landscapes.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s richest wildlife viewing waterways. The trek may take several hours, but the reward is a magical hour spent observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.

After the experience, receive your trekking certificate and enjoy lunch before transferring to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in the evening and check in at your lakeside lodge.
