Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport and brief you about the safari. Depart Kigali and drive through the beautiful hills of Rwanda before crossing into Uganda via the Katuna or Cyanika border.

Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing while preparing for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides and rangers, hike through the forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.

Once the gorillas are located, spend up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat and taking photographs.

After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda's most scenic lakes, surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with numerous islands. Relax at your lodge and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Lake Bunyonyi and Return to Kigali

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing morning at Lake Bunyonyi. You may take a canoe ride, boat excursion, or simply admire the beautiful scenery.

Later, begin the return journey to Kigali, crossing back into Rwanda. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon and transfer to Kigali International Airport or your hotel, marking the end of your safari.
