Your guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 am, then drive for 3 hours to Tarangire National Park, where you will have a full-day game drive. Later, you will drive to the hotel in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Tarangire National Park is 115 km from Arusha and covers 2,800 km². The wild animals drink water from the Tarangire River, where the name "Tarangire" comes from. The park has major attractions, including large numbers of elephants, tree-climbing lions, pythons, and baobab trees. You will also be able to see lions, leopards, and other animals in this beautiful park.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous Ngoitokitok Hippo Pool while surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. After lunch, continue exploring the crater floor before ascending the crater walls in the late afternoon.
