Morning: Arrive at Kigali Airport. Meet your guide, complete a short briefing, and depart immediately for Uganda. Cross the border at Katuna or Cyanika (Rwanda is 1 hour behind Uganda).

Afternoon: Continue driving through the beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda, past tea plantations and crater lakes.

Evening: Arrive at your lodge near Kibale Forest. Check in, have dinner, and rest for tomorrow’s chimpanzee trekking.

Day 2

Morning: After an early breakfast, go to the park headquarters for a briefing. Enter the forest with a ranger guide to track chimpanzees. Once found, you spend one hour observing them.

Afternoon: Return to the lodge for lunch, then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 3–4 hours). You may do a short game drive on the way if time permits.

Morning: Early morning game drive on the Kasenyi Plains – look for lions, elephants, buffalo, and Uganda kobs.

Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy a 2‑hour boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. You will see hundreds of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner.

Morning: Early morning game drive in Lake Mburo in search for zebras, impalas, elands, topis, and possibly leopards.

Afternoon: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 5–6 hours). The route takes you through the highlands with stunning views.

Evening: Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi. Your guide will give you a detailed briefing for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking.

Morning: After an early breakfast, go to the park headquarters for a briefing. Enter the “impenetrable” forest with expert rangers. The trek can take 2 to 8 hours depending on where the gorillas are.

Mid‑day: Once you find the gorilla family, you are allowed one hour with them – an unforgettable, life‑changing experience.

Afternoon: Return to the lodge to celebrate and have lunch. You can rest or take a short community walk.
