After breakfast and a safari briefing in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The drive takes you through local villages, rolling countryside, and scenic landscapes before arriving at the park. Named after the Tarangire River, which flows year-round, the park attracts an abundance of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Enjoy an exciting game drive through diverse habitats including open grasslands, river valleys, seasonal swamps, and iconic baobab trees. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen moving across the plains. Following an early breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destination. Begin your day with breakfast before departing for another exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park. Early morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing as predators complete their nightly hunts and herbivores gather across the vast plains. Explore different areas of the Serengeti in search of animals not seen the previous day. Large lion prides, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and a variety of bird species create unforgettable safari experiences. The endless savannah and abundant wildlife showcase why the Serengeti is one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Known as Africa’s Eden, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor in search of the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhinoceros. Other animals commonly seen include zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, and numerous bird species. The crater’s grasslands, forests, swamps, and lakes create diverse habitats that support wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater before continuing your final game drive.
