Welcome to Ethiopia, the Land of Origins. Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy some rest after your journey or take a short orientation tour of Addis Ababa, Africa's diplomatic capital and one of the continent's most vibrant cities. This is an excellent opportunity to experience Ethiopia's unique blend of history, culture, and modern life.

After breakfast, take a morning flight to Arba Minch, a beautiful town located in the Great Rift Valley and known for its stunning scenery and cultural diversity.

Upon arrival, drive to the Dorze Highlands to visit the Dorze people, renowned for their distinctive beehive-shaped bamboo houses, traditional weaving techniques, and rich cultural heritage. Learn about their daily life, farming traditions, and unique architecture while enjoying spectacular views over Lakes Abaya and Chamo.

The cool mountain climate and breathtaking landscapes make this one of the most memorable cultural experiences in southern Ethiopia.

Day 3

After breakfast, begin your journey south through the heart of the Omo Valley, one of Africa's most culturally diverse regions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Along the way, pass through traditional villages and colorful landscapes. If your visit coincides with a local market day, stop to experience one of the vibrant tribal markets where various ethnic groups gather to trade livestock, food products, and handmade crafts.

Continue to Turmi, home of the Hamer people, one of the most fascinating tribes in Ethiopia. Visit a Hamer village and gain insight into their traditional lifestyle, distinctive hairstyles, elaborate beadwork, and unique cultural ceremonies. The Hamer are known for their hospitality and strong preservation of their cultural identity.

Day 4

Karo Tribe – Jinka

Karo Tribe – Jinka

This morning, travel to the village of the Karo people, situated on the banks of the Omo River.

The Karo are famous for their extraordinary body painting traditions, using natural pigments to create intricate designs for ceremonies and special occasions. Their villages offer some of the most spectacular views of the Omo River Valley and provide excellent opportunities for cultural photography.

After exploring the Karo community, continue to Jinka. Along the way, visit the Ari people, one of the largest ethnic groups in southern Ethiopia. Unlike many neighboring pastoral communities, the Ari are primarily agriculturalists and are known for their traditional farming practices, pottery, blacksmithing, and coffee cultivation.

After an early breakfast, drive into Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people, one of the most iconic and recognizable tribes in Africa.

The Mursi are internationally known for the decorative lip plates traditionally worn by many women, as well as their distinctive body adornments and strong cultural traditions. During your visit, learn about their customs, social structure, and way of life while gaining a deeper understanding of the region's cultural diversity.

Following the visit, transfer to Jinka Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.

When you arrive, please transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, take a morning flight to Lalibela, Ethiopia's most celebrated historical and spiritual destination.

Upon arrival, begin exploring the remarkable rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, one of the world's most extraordinary architectural achievements and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Carved directly from solid volcanic rock during the 12th and 13th centuries under King Lalibela, these churches continue to serve as active places of worship and pilgrimage.

Visit several churches from the northwestern cluster, including Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, and other interconnected churches linked by tunnels and passageways carved into the rock.

This morning, continue exploring the remaining churches of Lalibela, including the magnificent Bete Giyorgis (Church of St. George), widely regarded as the masterpiece of Lalibela's rock-hewn architecture. Its perfectly carved cross-shaped design has become the symbol of Ethiopia's rich Christian heritage.

After completing your tour, transfer to Lalibela Airport for your return flight to Addis Ababa.
Depending on your international departure schedule, enjoy some free time for shopping, relaxation, or sightseeing in the capital.

In the evening, attend a traditional farewell dinner at one of Addis Ababa's renowned cultural restaurants. Enjoy authentic Ethiopian cuisine, accompanied by a traditional coffee ceremony and vibrant music and dance performances representing Ethiopia's diverse ethnic cultures.

Following the farewell dinner, transfer to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for your international departure flight.
