Arrival in Windhoek

You will meet and assist at Windhoek or Walvis Bay Airport. Transfer to Swakopmund. You will explore the beach and later have dinner. We recommend Tiger Reef Bar & Grill (dinner at your own account) near your hotel.

Set along Namibia's spectacularly scenic coast, the seaside town of Swakopmund is known for its wide-open avenues, colonial architecture, and its surrounding otherworldly desert terrain. Founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South-West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more German than Germany. Now a seaside resort town, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has plenty to keep visitors happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laid-back atmosphere, and cool sea breeze make it a very popular Namibian destination. Visitors can look forward to several exciting activities, including: quad biking, horse riding, paragliding, fishing, sightseeing, and fascinating desert tours.

The Sandwich Harbour Tour

After breakfast, you'll have a morning pick up to Walvis Bay at 07:30 am for your boat cruise, followed by the 4x4 Sandwich Harbour (you will see the flamingos, salt mine, pink lake, and the area where the ocean meets the desert). Both activities include Champagne, cold local beers, soft drinks, fresh Oysters and finger food. At 5:30 pm, you head back to Swakopmund. For dinner, we recommend the Tug Restaurant (dinner at your own account).

Camel Ride

After breakfast, at 10:30 am, you will be picked up for your return transfer to Desert Explorers for your 30-minute Camel Ride and 45 minutes Quad biking Tour. For lunch, we recommend Ocean Celler Restaurant (own account). Evening is spent at leisure. For dinner, we recommend Brewer & Butcher's Restaurant (dinner at your own Account).

Day at Leisure

These two days are purely spent at leisure. You will explore the mall and spend time at the beach. For dinner, we recommend Kuki’s Pub and Ocean Celler Restaurant (own account).
