Day 1

Morning pick up by safari driver and head out towards Emali tarmac road. You will reach the lodge, located just 2-4 kilometers outside of the park's Kimana Gate, right in time for a hearty hot lunch. Check into your private cottage, unpack, and enjoy some time to rest. Your guide will help you spot enormous herds of elephants, buffalos, zebras, and giraffes against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for a buffet dinner, followed by an evening around the bonfire or a dance performance hosted by local Maasai warriors and overnight.

Wake up early for a sunrise safari to watch the wildlife awake in the golden morning light. The early hours are often the best for catching predators like lions and cheetahs on the prowl and the magnificent views of the Mt. Kilimanjaro. Head back to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing by the swimming pool, enjoying spa treatments, or participating in a guided nature walk. Head back out into the plains or take an optional guided tour to visit an authentic Maasai village 9at an extra cost of USD 35) to learn about their semi-nomadic traditions and browse local handicrafts.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast and check out. Depart and drive towards Naivasha and have a brief stop over at the great rift valley point. Arrive for lunch at the lodge and proceed to Hells Gate for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Check out of Ziwa Bush Lodge and depart Njoro/Nakuru via the C57 and C12 roads toward Narok. Pass through Narok town, the gateway to the Maasai Mara, where you can stock up on last-minute snacks or bottled water. Arrive at AA Lodge Maasai Mara. Check into your tent and enjoy a late lunch. Enjoy a brief introductory afternoon game drive en route to your lodge, then settle into the property to relax by the pool or large bonfire followed by dinner and overnight.
