1-Day Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Experiance from Kigali

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali or Kigali International Airport as early as 4:30 AM and begin the scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze District.

Upon arrival at the park headquarters, you will join fellow trekkers for a briefing conducted by Rwanda Development Board guides. The briefing covers gorilla trekking regulations, safety procedures, and expectations during the trek.

Following the briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla family and begin your trek through the forest. The duration of the trek varies depending on the location of the gorillas and may range from 1 to 6 hours. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one magical hour observing and photographing them.

After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate and begin the return journey to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
