Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for domestic flights, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from kilipath African Safaris. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for your safari adventure. Overnight stay at Summit Safari Lodge.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts an abundance of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Its diverse landscapes feature vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, towering baobab trees, and lush groundwater forests.
Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the riverbanks, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, bushbucks, and hartebeests. The park is also home to predators such as lions and leopards, which can often be spotted stalking their prey. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the park’s exceptional birdlife, with hundreds of species recorded throughout the year.
After enjoying a picnic lunch and an exciting afternoon game drive, you will continue to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Farm of Dreams.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
You will depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Often referred to as a "lost world," the crater is enclosed by towering volcanic walls that shelter a remarkable ecosystem of open grasslands, acacia forests, freshwater lakes, and wetlands.
Formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed, the Ngorongoro Crater is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. As you descend 600 meters to the crater floor, you will enter a wildlife-rich environment teeming with wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, and an impressive variety of birdlife, with more than 500 species recorded in the area.
The crater also offers one of the best opportunities in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino, alongside other members of the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site within the crater while surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse wildlife destination located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is named after its shallow alkaline lake, which covers nearly two-thirds of the park and attracts a spectacular variety of birdlife throughout the year.
Lake Manyara is renowned for its thousands of flamingos, as well as over 500 recorded bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts. During your game drive, you may encounter troops of baboons, blue monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting among the branches.
After an exciting morning of wildlife viewing and a picnic lunch, you will begin your journey back to Arusha.
