Day 2

After breakfast, depart for Aberdares in the scenic central highlands of Kenya, known for its diverse ecosystems ranging from bamboo forests and woodlands to open moorlands and Afro-alpine landscapes.
Aberdare National Park is home to wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, and colobus monkeys. It also offers a chance to spot rare species like the bongo antelope, giant forest hog, serval cat, and blue duiker.
The landscape features forested ravines, rolling hills, and misty valleys, creating a truly enchanting setting.
Accommodation here is unique, typically at lodges like The Ark or Treetops, overlooking floodlit waterholes and salt licks that attract wildlife. Guests can enjoy sightings from viewing decks and lounges, and a night guard will alert you for special animal visits.

This beautiful conservancy is a haven for nature enthusiasts and is renowned for its conservation efforts, including protecting the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos.
Ol Pejeta is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and other iconic species. You will have the unique opportunity to visit the protected rhino sanctuary and, if available, track collared lions alongside experienced researchers.
During your game drives, enjoy sightings of elephants feeding on whistling thorn trees or lions stalking across the open plains. Whether capturing the Big Five through your lens or simply relaxing amidst nature, Ol Pejeta offers a truly memorable and immersive safari experience.

After an early breakfast at 07:00 hrs, depart for Lake Naivasha, descending into the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel.
In the afternoon, enjoy a 1-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by papyrus reeds and acacia trees. The lake is a paradise for bird lovers, home to a wide variety of species including fish eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, lily-trotters, and black crakes.
The lake also supports a large population of hippos, often seen resting in the water or grazing along the shores.
After the excursion, proceed to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Naivasha.

In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive (16:00–18:00 hrs), a time when the wilderness comes alive with activity. As temperatures cool, predators begin their hunt, offering a thrilling chance to witness nature in action. You may encounter lions on the prowl, giraffes moving gracefully across the plains, or hyenas competing over a kill.
While every game drive is unique and sightings cannot be guaranteed, the experience promises unforgettable moments in one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.
As the sun sets, painting the sky in shades of red, gold, and orange, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the Maasai Mara.

Today, enjoy a full day exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara. You may choose between morning and afternoon game drives with a break at the lodge for lunch, or opt for a full-day game drive (07:30–15:30 hrs) with a packed picnic lunch to make the most of your time in the reserve.
Accompanied by an experienced guide, traverse the vast savannahs in search of the iconic Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros—while gaining insight into the region’s rich ecosystems. Witness fascinating interactions between predators and prey, observe large herds of grazing animals, and keep an eye out for a cheetah on the hunt.
As the day comes to an end, return to your lodge after a spectacular African sunset for dinner and an overnight stay in the Maasai Mara.
