Day 1

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala, followed by a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, famously known as the "Primate Capital of the World." The journey takes you through Uganda's beautiful countryside, featuring rolling hills, traditional villages, tea plantations, and lush farmlands. Along the way, you will have opportunities to stop for photography, refreshments, and to experience the local culture and stunning landscapes.

Upon arrival in Kibale in the late afternoon, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a short nature walk around the lodge or simply relax and prepare for the exciting chimpanzee trekking experience awaiting you the next day. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your selected lodge in Kibale National Park.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will head to Kibale National Park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by an experienced ranger guide, you will venture into the tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. Once found, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing these fascinating primates as they feed, play, and communicate in their natural habitat. You may also encounter other primates, birds, and unique forest species during the trek.

After lunch, you will begin your scenic transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of the savannah plains, crater lakes, and the famous Ishasha sector, renowned for its tree-climbing lions if luck is on your side. Continue through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda before arriving at your lodge in Bwindi for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the exciting gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing by the park rangers before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. You will then enter the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take a few hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas, but the experience is truly rewarding. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and care for their young in their natural habitat.

After the trek and lunch, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa's most beautiful and deepest lakes. Surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with numerous islands, Lake Bunyonyi offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after your gorilla trekking experience. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, enjoy the breathtaking views, have dinner, and spend a restful overnight stay by the lake.

Continue to Entebbe, arriving in the late afternoon or evening for your departure flight or drop-off at your hotel.
