Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Nairobi. After a short safari briefing, depart south via the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway towards Amboseli National Park.

Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and check-in.

After some relaxation, set out on an afternoon game drive through the park's vast plains. Amboseli is renowned for its impressive elephant population, often seen moving gracefully beneath the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Other wildlife commonly seen includes lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Safari in Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring the diverse habitats of Amboseli National Park.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch in the park or lunch at the lodge depending on your preference.

Visit the famous Observation Hill, which offers panoramic views of the park, swamps, and surrounding plains. The underground springs fed by Mount Kilimanjaro create lush wetlands that attract a wide variety of wildlife throughout the year.

Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and over 400 recorded bird species.

Weather permitting, early morning and late afternoon provide the best opportunities to capture stunning photographs of wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel, residence, or the airport, marking the end of your memorable Amboseli safari.
