Day 1

You will depart from Nairobi, heading west to the Masai Mara, while enjoying the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Your first stop will be at a viewpoint overlooking the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. The second stop will be at Narok for any final shopping before continuing to your camp, where you will arrive in time for lunch. After checking in and enjoying your hot lunch, take some time to refresh before departing on an evening game drive to spot some of the area's remarkable wildlife. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at our fully furnished camp with hot showers and buffet-style self-service meals. Meals will be served according to your preferences.

Have an early breakfast and then proceed on a game drive in the park, a landscape of rolling savannah grasslands. The Mara is famous for its abundant wildlife and well-developed road network, which allows for excellent game viewing and photography. Capture memorable photos of the famous man-eating lions and enjoy views of the park's diverse wildlife, as well as its many bird species for bird enthusiasts. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you can experience dining while watching hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Today you will visit a Maasai village and participate in their cultural activities at an additional cost of $10. Afterwards, depart for Nakuru with lunch en route. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way, including views of Mount Longonot and Lake Nakuru. You will also have the option of a boat ride on Lake Naivasha at an additional cost of $20. Upon arrival, dinner and your overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.

Today you will embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for its flamingos and its rhino sanctuary, home to both the endangered white rhino and the black rhino. Enjoy wildlife sightings around the lake, including buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, and observe how they coexist in their natural habitat. You will also visit Baboon Cliff, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the park and see the resident baboons. Have a picnic lunch before traveling to Naivasha later in the day. Dinner and your overnight stay will be in Naivasha.

You may also ride bikes for an additional cost. Enjoy the diverse vegetation around the park. Later, have lunch and depart for Amboseli via Nairobi, traveling along the busy Nairobi–Mombasa highway. You will arrive in Amboseli in time for dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Have breakfast, then set out for a game drive in Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s best parks, and enjoy close-up views of its beautiful wildlife. Encounter the large elephant herds of Amboseli and experience the sounds of the wild. The views become even more spectacular with the sight of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest snow-capped mountain in Africa, as a backdrop. Have a picnic lunch. You may also enjoy an optional visit to the local villages at an additional cost. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Have a pre-breakfast meal, then set out for an early morning game drive at 6:30 am in the swampy park. Enjoy views of a variety of herbivores, including hippos wallowing in the muddy swamps, large elephants and their calves, and other wildlife. Return to the camp for a full breakfast, then check out and drive to the Namanga border, where you will catch a shuttle bus to Arusha. Upon arrival, meet our driver, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for a bed and breakfast stay.

Have breakfast at the hotel, then meet our driver for a transfer to the office, where we will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at the park by 10:00 am and, with picnic lunches in hand, proceed on a game drive in search of the wildlife and flamingos that inhabit this national park. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Later in the evening, depart Lake Manyara and drive to the campsite, where dinner will be served, followed by your overnight stay.

Breakfast will be served, at which time you will check out and drive four hours to Serengeti National Park with lunch en route. Arrive at the main gate for registration and proceed on an afternoon game drive. You will have at least six hours of game viewing before continuing to the Central Serengeti, where you will stay at a campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. The Serengeti is vast, and we choose to stay in the Central area so that we can access the regions with the highest concentration of wildlife during the game drives.

After an early breakfast at the camp, you will depart with a picnic lunch in hand for a full-day game viewing experience, tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration and searching for the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino. You may also take a game drive to the crocodile-infested Grumeti River to see crocodiles and hippopotamuses. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the picnic site and continue with the game drive until 5:00 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 11

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at the camp, you will depart with picnic lunches in hand for a six-hour game drive (at least) in Serengeti National Park. Here, you will track wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, lionesses, black rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, bushbucks, lesser kudus, wild dogs, kongoni, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, black-backed jackals, mongooses, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, and many other species. With some luck, you will have the opportunity to see some of these animals.

We will leave the park around noon and then stop at Olduvai Gorge (an additional cost of $45 USD per person). You will arrive at the conservancy area in the evening, where dinner and your overnight stay will be at a campsite.

You will descend into the crater and enjoy game viewing, with opportunities to see common lions, African elephants, black rhinos, blue wildebeest, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, Grant’s zebras, African buffalo, and hippopotamuses at the crater rim. Have a picnic lunch at the crater rim, then begin the ascent to the main gate. After a six-hour crater tour, exit the crater and drive to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Upon arrival in Arusha, check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, relaxing after your safari adventure or exploring the city’s vibrant markets and cultural attractions before your overnight stay.
