You’ll depart for Samburu National Reserve, a remote and beautiful destination ideal for travelers seeking a unique safari experience. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive. Explore the reserve’s stunning landscapes in search of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and the famous Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx.

Samburu is also rich in cultural heritage, with opportunities to visit local Samburu villages and learn about their traditional lifestyle. The reserve is historically connected to conservationists Joy and George Adamson, who raised the famous lioness Elsa, whose story was immortalized in the renowned book Born Free.

After your game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Samburu National Reserve

Early morning breakfast is at 6:00 am. Thereafter, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the reserve.
Samburu offers great wildlife viewing, and good densities mean that most safari animals can be seen within a couple of days. There are several habituated leopards, and sightings are not unusual. Elephants are plentiful, and there is a variety of antelope, including both the greater and lesser kudu, with their impressive horns. Only rhino is absent from the Big Five.

Samburu - Lake Naivasha

On this last day, you will have a wake-up call at 5:00 am for breakfast. Thereafter, you'll leave for Lake Naivasha with a stopover in Nanyuki for lunch. You'll arrive in Naivasha in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your Guest House to freshen up and go for an optional boat ride and walking safari.

Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic landscapes, towering cliffs, deep gorges, and unique wildlife. Enjoy an exciting exploration of the park before continuing your journey to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains.

During the game drive, keep an eye out for the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. If you visit during the Great Wildebeest Migration season, typically between July and October, you may witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River in search of fresh grazing grounds.

After an unforgettable wildlife experience, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the African wilderness.
