You will be picked up by our safari guide from the Airport or your Nairobi hotel and driven north through the scenic central highlands, with stunning views of Mount Kenya en route to Samburu National Reserve.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Samburu is famous for its unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and large elephant herds along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Full-Day Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve

You'll enjoy breakfast and head out for a game drive. We recommend having a morning to early afternoon game and an evening game drive. During this time, most animals are active, and you are assured to spot as many animals as possible.
Samburu's landscape is dominated by the volcano of the same name, which will be the backdrop to your exploration of this park.
The neighbouring park of Shaba will also form part of your day's game drive. Its challenging landscape will add to the genuine African safari experience. The rugged park, dotted with trees and characterized by rolling grasslands, features beautiful landscapes where nature unfolds its cycles.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3

Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive south of Samburu, arriving at Maisha Sweetwaters camp in good time for lunch.
After lunch, get to familiarize yourself with the camp, which has a waterhole adjacent to the bar area.

Embark on an afternoon game drive, starting at the chimpanzee sanctuary and later visiting this park known for the largest concentration of white and black rhinos. Other animals found here include giraffes, gazelles, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and many others, which return at sunset.

Ol Pejeta is also the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to two of the world's last remaining Northern white rhinos. It is the only place in Kenya where chimpanzees can be seen, in a sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market.

After breakfast at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, you depart for Lake Naivasha, journeying through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

On arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before setting out on a scenic boat ride across the lake, where hippos surface and vibrant birdlife fills the skies. You may also explore Crescent Island on a guided walking safari for up-close wildlife encounters in a tranquil setting.

As the day winds down, return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay by the lake.

After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day game drive in the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve with a packed lunch. Spend the day exploring endless savannahs in search of the Big Five—lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino—while enjoying the raw beauty of the wild.

Pause for a scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the bush as you continue tracking wildlife across the plains. Depending on the season, you may also witness vast herds of zebras and the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration (July–August).

Optional experiences at an extra cost include a breathtaking hot air balloon safari at sunrise and a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village for an authentic insight into local heritage.
