Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Traveling southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley, you will make a brief stop at a viewpoint to admire the dramatic escarpments and landscapes that characterize this geological wonder. Continuing through rural Kenya and Maasai lands, you will arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your safari lodge. After some time to relax and settle in, you will embark on your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife, and your first safari experience may reveal herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and even predators such as lions or cheetahs. As the sun sets over the vast savannah, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Full day exploration of Masai Mara

Following an early breakfast, you will depart for a full day of game viewing across the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. The reserve forms part of the greater Mara-Serengeti ecosystem and supports an incredible variety of wildlife throughout the year. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will traverse different habitats in search of lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains for prey, leopards hidden among riverine vegetation, and large herds of buffalo and elephants. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location within the reserve, allowing you to maximize your time in the wilderness. Depending on your interests, optional activities such as a visit to a traditional Maasai village or a sunrise hot-air balloon safari may be arranged. In the late afternoon, you will continue exploring before returning to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will depart the Masai Mara and journey toward the Kenya-Tanzania border at Isebania. Following immigration and customs formalities, you will meet our Tanzanian safari team and continue into the world-famous Serengeti. The drive itself serves as an exciting game-viewing experience, as wildlife sightings often begin shortly after entering the park. The Serengeti's endless grasslands stretch to the horizon, creating one of Africa's most iconic landscapes. Along the way, you will encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants, and predators such as lions and hyenas. Arriving at your tented camp later in the day, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night immersed in the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable ecosystems of the Serengeti. An early morning game drive offers the best chance to observe predators while they are still active. As the day unfolds, you will venture across different regions of the park, searching for resident and migratory wildlife. The Serengeti is famous for its large lion populations, and visitors frequently encounter prides resting beneath trees or stalking prey across the plains. Depending on the season, you may witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the landscape as part of the Great Migration. Other commonly sighted animals include elephants, giraffes, topi, eland, ostriches, hyenas, jackals, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. As the golden light of sunset bathes the savannah, you will return to camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. The route offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and passes through landscapes that gradually transition from open plains to forested highlands. Upon arrival at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of this immense volcanic caldera, often described as one of Africa's natural wonders. The crater spans approximately 260 square kilometers and shelters an extraordinary concentration of wildlife within its walls. After checking into your lodge on the crater rim or in nearby Karatu, you may spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the spectacular scenery. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided in preparation for the next day's crater exploration.

An early start allows you to descend into the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, where one of Africa's most rewarding wildlife experiences awaits. The crater's enclosed ecosystem supports a remarkable density of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros. As you explore the crater floor, you will visit forests, open grasslands, freshwater springs, and soda lakes that attract flamingos and other birdlife. The diversity of habitats provides exceptional opportunities for photography and wildlife observation. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated site within the crater before ascending back to the rim. At 11 am you will depart for Arusha, where the safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, airport, or onward travel point. However, should you wish to visit the Zanzibar beach or Diani beach for a short relaxation, we can absolutely arrange that.
