Day 1

You will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala by our professional driver-guide and begin the journey to Jinja, famously known as the adventure capital of East Africa. The drive takes you through scenic countryside landscapes, bustling roadside markets, and local communities, with a stop at the iconic Mabira Forest for a short break and optional refreshments.

Upon arrival in Jinja, proceed for an exciting white water rafting experience on the legendary River Nile, one of the world’s most thrilling rafting destinations. Accompanied by experienced rafting guides and safety kayakers, you will navigate a series of exhilarating rapids while enjoying spectacular scenery along the river. Both experienced rafters and beginners can enjoy this adventure, with safety briefings and equipment provided before the activity. After the rafting experience, relax and enjoy lunch before heading to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay in Jinja.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you'll depart from Jinja and begin the journey towards Murchison Falls NP, Uganda’s largest and most famous national park. Along the way, you'll pass through beautiful countryside landscapes, local villages, and rolling savannah plains.

Enroute, you'll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you'll trek through the sanctuary in search of the endangered white rhinos while learning about conservation efforts aimed at restoring rhinos in Uganda.

Enjoy lunch before proceeding to Murchison. Upon arrival in Murchison Falls National Park, you'll visit the top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile River forces itself through a narrow 7-meter gorge. The thunderous sound, powerful water flow, and breathtaking views make this one of Uganda’s most spectacular natural attractions. Thereafter, proceed to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

Wildlife Viewing in Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive through the vast savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, and during the drive you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, warthogs, and, with luck, leopards. The game drive also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities and stunning views of the park’s scenic landscapes.

After the morning safari, return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch before proceeding for an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, you'll encounter large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species including kingfishers, fish eagles, and herons.

If time and energy allow after the boat cruise, you may proceed for a short evening game drive, offering another chance to spot wildlife in the cool hours of the day.

After an early breakfast, you will have the option (at an extra cost) to participate in an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Budongo Forest, one of Uganda’s richest tropical forests and home to a habituated chimpanzee community. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will walk through the forest in search of these fascinating primates while also encountering various bird species, monkeys, and unique forest vegetation. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend time observing their behavior, feeding habits, and interactions in their natural habitat, creating a truly unforgettable wildlife experience.

After the trekking activity, return and begin the journey back to Entebbe, enjoying scenic countryside views and a lunch stop enroute. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will check in at your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay. For guests who may choose not to participate in the chimpanzee trekking activity, an earlier departure to Entebbe can be arranged.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will proceed for an unforgettable shoebill tracking experience in the wetlands around Entebbe. Accompanied by an experienced local guide, you will explore the papyrus swamps by boat in search of the rare and prehistoric-looking shoebill stork, one of Africa’s most sought-after bird species. The excursion also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities, with sightings of kingfishers, herons, and other wetland species in their natural habitat.
