Day 1

Your adventure begins with morning pickup from your Arusha hotel before driving to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its huge elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and rich wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch served inside the park as you search for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and over 500 bird species. Tarangire's seasonal river attracts animals throughout the year, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. After an exciting day in the bush, leave the park and drive to Mto wa Mbu village. Check in at Jua Manyara Lodge & Campsite or Fig Tree Campsite, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night preparing for the next stage of your safari.

Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Mto wa Mbu and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views before entering Tanzania's most celebrated wildlife destination. The Serengeti is renowned for its endless plains, abundant predators, and the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move in search of fresh grazing depending on the season. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, buffaloes, and many other animals that roam these vast landscapes. Wake up early for another exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is most active. Explore different areas of the park while searching for predators on the hunt and grazing herbivores across the endless plains. After a picnic lunch, continue enjoying wildlife sightings before departing in the afternoon toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim in the evening, where cooler temperatures and breathtaking views provide a perfect ending to the day. Settle into your public campsite for dinner and overnight, ready for the final wildlife adventure inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater the following morning.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's greatest natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a game drive across the crater floor, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and the endangered black rhinoceros. The crater's unique ecosystem offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Tanzania. After a picnic lunch beside a scenic hippo pool, continue your final game drive before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel, bringing your unforgettable four-day Tanzania camping safari to a memorable close.
