Upon arrival at JKIA Airport or after pick up from your hotel in Nairobi, meet your professional safari guide for a short briefing before departing for the spectacular Masai Mara National Reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley. Enjoy breathtaking views along the journey with a brief stopover at the escarpment viewpoint for photography. Continue with a drive through Narok town arriving at the reserve in time for check-in at your safari lodge or camp. After breakfast, check out from the lodge and depart for the beautiful freshwater lake region of Lake Naivasha located within Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your lodge in time for check-in and lunch while enjoying scenic surroundings overlooking the lake. After a brief rest, proceed for an exciting boat ride excursion across the calm waters of Lake Naivasha where hippos and numerous bird species can easily be spotted in their natural habitat. Continue with a guided walking excursion at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary where you enjoy close encounters with freely roaming giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other herbivores while walking safely alongside nature. Later in the afternoon, proceed for wildlife viewing inside the reserve, famous for rare northern species commonly known as the Samburu Special Five including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and Beisa oryx. The reserve also hosts elephants, lions, leopards and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
