After breakfast, we begin the day with a scenic driver to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a guided walk through lush coffee farms, learn about the traditional coffee-making process, and experience the local chagga culture. Continue with a hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and a refreshing natural atmosphere.

After the experience, return to Arusha for relaxation before your safari adventure continues.

Journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park - Home of Elephants

After breakfast, your friendship Adventure safari guide will pick your from your accommodation. This morning, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a two-and-a-half-hour journey on good tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. Known for its large elephant herds, the park offers great opportunities to observe these magnificent animals congregating by the river. Additionally, you may encounter giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest, with various predators such as lions and leopards often in the vicinity.

Tarangire is also home to the highest diversity of bird species anywhere on the planet. You will find ancient baobab trees throughout the park, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated site inside the park.

After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation.

After breakfast, you will drive into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop and take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Following this, you will continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area until you reach the southern part of Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular, known for its vast open grasslands that provide excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings. While it is home to a wide variety of wildlife, it is especially famous for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may witness one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World, as vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope migrate in search of water and fresh grass.

After breakfast, you'll journey from Serengeti to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. As you approach, the crater reveals itself like a hidden gem - an ancient volcanic caldera teeming with life, framed by lush, towering walls. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking blend of golden savannahs, tranquil lakes, and acacia-dotted woodlands, shaped by a colossal eruption millions of years ago.

The descent into the crater feels like stepping into a nature documentary. Once on the crater floor, you’ll find yourself surrounded by an astonishing array of wildlife: herds of wildebeest and zebra roam freely, graceful gazelles dart across the plains, and over 500 bird species fill the air with song.
