1 Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your private safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha as you journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's hidden wildlife treasures. Famous for its ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, the park attracts enormous concentrations of wildlife throughout the year, particularly during the dry season.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse landscapes where you'll have excellent opportunities to encounter large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas, warthogs, and a remarkable variety of bird life. Tarangire is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot elusive predators such as leopards and cheetahs.

After a picnic lunch in the park, continue exploring before driving to your comfortable accommodation for the evening.

Road transfer to Ngorongoro crater (Wildlife pond)

After breakfast, you depart Tarangire and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic highland landscapes, farmland, and Maasai villages along the way. The journey itself offers a glimpse into everyday life in northern Tanzania as you ascend toward the cooler highlands.

Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, you take time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the vast caldera below—one of the most remarkable natural wildlife areas in Africa. You then continue to your lodge located on or near the crater rim or in the surrounding highlands.

The afternoon is at leisure, allowing you to rest after the drive or simply enjoy the Picnic lunch. Depending on timing and lodge location, you may also take a short walk around the lodge area or visit a nearby viewpoint for sunset over the crater.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National park - Arusha

Lake Manyara National park - Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park set along the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Despite its relatively small size, the park offers a rich variety of habitats, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake that attracts large numbers of birds and wildlife.

The lush, forested area is often alive with troops of baboons and blue monkeys, while elephants can be seen moving quietly through the woodland. As you continue toward the lake, the landscape opens up, revealing sweeping views and chances to spot different species. Also it is well known for bird species commonly seen along the shoreline, the possibility of seeing tree-climbing lions resting on the branches of acacia trees, a rare behavior observed in only a few places in Africa.
After a picnic lunch inside the park, you continue your game drive as exiting in the afternoon and beginning your return journey to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
