Nairobi to Masai Mara (Drive | Afternoon Game Drive)

Depart Nairobi early for a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the rolling savannahs, famous for big cats, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of plains game. As the sun sets, enjoy classic Mara landscapes before returning to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara (Morning Game Drive)

After an early breakfast, set out for a final morning game drive when wildlife is most active. This is an excellent time to spot hunting cats and enjoy soft morning light for photography. Return to camp late morning, relax over lunch, and spend the afternoon at leisure, soaking in the wilderness atmosphere. Dinner and your third overnight are spent in the Mara.

Fly Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled light-aircraft flight from the Mara to Amboseli, connecting via Nairobi. On arrival, transfer to your lodge with game viewing en route. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and dramatic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the open plains and swamps before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
