Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast, meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel through Uganda's beautiful countryside, passing tea plantations, traditional villages, and the Equator, where you'll stop for photographs and refreshments.
Arrive at Enshama Game Lodge in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park's premier wildlife-viewing areas. Search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, hyenas, warthogs, waterbucks, and numerous bird species.
After lunch, enjoy the famous boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife gather along the shoreline, offering exceptional photographic opportunities.
Return to the lodge.

After an early breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, venture into the lush forest in search of habituated chimpanzees while learning about the unique ecosystem of the gorge. After the trek, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, enjoying scenic vcrater drive of the Kigezi Highlands before arriving at your lodge in the evening to relax and prepare for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Accompanied by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, hike through the bamboo forests and montane rainforest in search of one of the habituated mountain gorilla families. Depending on their location, the trek may take between 2 and 6 hours. Once located, spend one incredible hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After lunch, cross into Rwanda via the Cyanika Border and continue to Volcanoes National Park, enjoying beautiful views of the Virunga Volcanoes along the way.

After an early breakfast, head to Volcanoes National Park for a briefing before setting off on an exciting Golden Monkey Trekking experience. These endangered and playful primates inhabit the bamboo forests at the foot of the Virunga Volcanoes and are renowned for their energetic behaviour and striking golden-orange fur.
After the trek, drive to Kigali and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you'll gain a deeper understanding of Rwanda's history, resilience, and remarkable journey of reconciliation.
Following lunch (time permitting), transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your unforgettable Uganda and Rwanda safari to a close.
