Amboseli national Park and over night at tented camp

Your safari starts with a pick-up at 6:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport and a drive to Amboseli National Park. You'll, Stop over for refreshments and snacks available later arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp. Have a hot lunch and then have some time to rest. At 2:00 pm, you will depart for an afternoon game drive.

The highlight is that Amboseli has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world. It is home to over 1,600 elephants from 56 different families. Each elephant has a name and a photo attached to it.

After the game drive, we will return to the lodge/camp, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and have an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park

This day is spent exploring the park with early morning and late afternoon game drives in the park.
The name "Amboseli" comes from a Masai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. They can also visit the local Masai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Amboseli is home to African elephants, Masai giraffes, warthogs, impalas, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, and on a lucky day lions and cheetahs. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

You will enjoy an early morning game drive (depending with the camp location) with a chance to see the big cats such as lions and cheetahs and also get a chance to see the sunrise. You'll drive back to the lodge for breakfast, before departing for Nairobi to arrive in the early afternoon. You will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight home or at your hotel in Nairobi.
