Arrival at Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your Wildlife Journeys Representative and transfer you to The Boma for an evening of relaxation recovering from the jetlag. If time permits, you will explore the nearby area visiting the beautiful beaches of Lake Victoria among others.

Scheduled Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On landing, meet your lodge representative and transfer to your lodge. Check-in and spend the rest of the day at relaxation. Alternative you can take part in optional community or nature walk.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Enjoy early breakfast and head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes for briefing about gorilla trekking by Uganda Wildlife Authority Rangers. You will be taken through rules and regulations to follow while in the presence of the gorillas among others. With armed ranger guides, enter the emerald forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park searching for the gorilla family assigned to you.
The trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more and once you have locate the gorilla family, spend one hour with their presence as you watch them play, feed and groom each other. After this incredible wildlife encounter, return to the lodge for relaxation.

Departure

Today is your last day in the Jungle of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park,
after breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe where you will connect with your international departure flight.
