In the morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Mekele for 100km approximately it takes 2hrs. At Mekele switch our Minibus to the 4wd for the next Danakil depression adventure. Then continue driving into the heart of the legendary Danakil Depression for 140km approximately 3-4hrs, one of the hottest and lowest places on Earth. Visit the colorful geothermal landscapes of Dallol, featuring vibrant mineral formations, sulfur springs, salt terraces, and surreal hydrothermal activity. Later, enjoy sunset views over Lake Asale, famous for its reflective salt flats and floating experience in the highly saline waters.
