Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your Amboseli adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as you leave Nairobi behind and journey south towards Amboseli National Park. Travel through the scenic Kenyan countryside, passing local towns, Maasai villages and changing landscapes as the city gradually gives way to open savannah. Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch, check in and settle into your comfortable tented accommodation.

Later, head out on your first game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains, where magnificent elephant herds move through the landscape with the dramatic presence of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Keep watch for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and colourful birdlife as your guide introduces you to the park and its wildlife. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Travel across open savannahs, seasonal wetlands and wildlife-rich plains, where large herds of elephants are often seen moving gracefully through the landscape with Kilimanjaro rising dramatically in the distance.
