Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport before departing Nairobi for Amboseli National Park. Travel through the scenic Kenyan countryside, passing local towns and rural landscapes as you make your way south.

Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and check in relax and enjoy the lodge's facilities. Later in the afternoon, head out on your first game drive across Amboseli's vast open plains, renowned for their large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep an eye out for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and a wide variety of birdlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Full day Game Drive in Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for a full day of wildlife viewing in Amboseli National Park. Explore the park's diverse ecosystems, including swamps fed by the melting snow of Mount Kilimanjaro, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes that attract a remarkable concentration of wildlife throughout the year.

Search for large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, spotted hyenas, wildebeests, gazelles, and over 400 recorded bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to the lodge, depending on your safari schedule. In the evening, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village (optional, at an additional cost) to learn about the Maasai people's culture, customs, traditional dances, and way of life before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
