Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel. A safari briefing will outline the 21-day ultimate adventure ahead. Check in at the hotel and relax. You can decide to visit the local people. Diner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 2

Mabira Forest, Sezibwa Falls & Jinja

After breakfast, drive to Jinja – the adventure capital of Uganda. En route, stop at Sezibwa Falls, a culturally significant site with twin waterfalls and rich folklore. Continue to Mabira Forest for a guided nature walk – Uganda’s largest remaining tropical rainforest. In the afternoon, visit the Source of the Nile. Optional: white-water rafting, bungee jumping, or a boat ride to the precise source point.

After breakfast, drive east to Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mount Elgon. Enjoy a guided hike to all three waterfalls (3-4 hours), passing through lush green hills, bamboo groves, and coffee plantations. Visit a Sabiny coffee farm for a hands-on coffee experience – from bean to cup. Overnight at Sipi.

After breakfast, drive northeast to Moroto Town in the Karamoja region (approx. 5-6 hours). This remote area is home to the Karamojong people, Uganda’s last remaining pastoralist warriors. The drive offers stunning views of the Karamoja plains and the distant peaks of Mount Moroto and Mount Kadam. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your accommodation.

Spend the day immersed in Karamojong culture. Visit a manyatta (traditional homestead) to learn about cattle herding, warrior traditions, and daily life. Witness traditional dances, hear stories from elders, and visit a local market. You may also have the opportunity to see iron smelting, beadwork, or participate in a food preparation demonstration. Return to your lodge for dinner.

Transfer from Kidepo to Murchison Falls

After breakfast, drive south to Murchison Falls National Park (approx. 6-7 hours). En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking – a 1-2 hour walking safari to observe white rhinos. Remember this is the only place in Uganda with rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls, arriving in the evening.

Once located, spend one hour with the chimps. In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary – a community-run swamp reserve teeming with birds, primates, and the Great Blue Turaco.
