Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and a drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and remarkable wildlife diversity.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. Tarangire offers exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year and is considered one of Tanzania's hidden safari gems.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration.

Later in the day, depart for your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike

After breakfast, set out for an exciting day hike through beautiful landscapes, enjoying fresh mountain air, scenic viewpoints, and the peaceful surroundings of northern Tanzania.

The hike offers an opportunity to connect with nature, admire local villages, and experience the region beyond the traditional safari circuit. Along the trail, you can enjoy panoramic views, lush vegetation, and authentic cultural encounters.

Following the hike, transfer back for an overnight stay in Arusha.

After breakfast, travel towards the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a visit to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls.

Enjoy a guided walk through green landscapes, banana plantations, and traditional Chagga villages before reaching the spectacular waterfall cascading from the slopes of Africa's highest mountain.

You will also have the opportunity to experience a traditional coffee tour, learning how locally grown coffee is cultivated, roasted, and prepared while interacting with members of the local community.

After lunch, begin your transfer to Moshi, where your memorable four-day adventure comes to an end.
