On this day, you will Depart Kampala and begin your journey to Fort Portal, a scenic drive of approximately 5–6 hours through western Uganda. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills, tea plantations, local communities, and the beautiful countryside. A stopover for lunch will be made enroute before continuing the journey to fortportal
Upon arrival in Fort Portal, check in and later visit the Tooro Kingdom Palace, the official residence of the King of Tooro. Learn about the rich history, traditions, and cultural heritage of the Tooro Kingdom while exploring one of Uganda's most important cultural landmarks.
After the cultural experience, check in to your lodge or hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Fort Portal. Dinner and an overnight stay conclude your day.

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, one of western Uganda's most fascinating cultural and historical sites. Explore the caves while learning about the legendary story behind their formation and enjoy a short walk to the nearby waterfalls and crater lakes.
Continue to Semuliki National Park, a unique tropical rainforest ecosystem known for its exceptional biodiversity, birdlife, and natural hot springs. Explore the park and visit the famous hot springs while learning about the area's geological features and rich natural heritage.
After the excursion, enjoy lunch before continuing your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel through the beautiful landscapes of western Uganda, passing tea plantations, local communities, and the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, set out for an exciting morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the wildlife-rich Kasenyi Plains. This is the best time to observe wildlife when animals are most active. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, and, if you're lucky, the elusive leopard. The park is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with hundreds of bird species found throughout the reserve.
Return to your lodge for relaxation and have lunch before heading to the boat cruise. The channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward, is one of the best places in East Africa to observe wildlife from the water. Along the shoreline, you may encounter large herds of elephants and buffaloes, pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a remarkable variety of water birds.
After the boat safari, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the park.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and depart Queen Elizabeth National Park for Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of western Uganda. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through rolling hills, cattle farms, and local communities.
Upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, check-in and enjoy lunch as well as some time to relax and appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Later in the late afternoon, set out for an exciting horseback safari (optional), one of the park's most unique wildlife experiences. Riding through the savannah on horseback offers an opportunity to get close to zebras, impalas, elands, and other wildlife while enjoying spectacular views of the park.
After the safari, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala
After an early breakfast, enjoy morning game drive to explore the park's acacia woodlands, open savannah, and wetlands, where you may encounter zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, Topis, waterbucks, warthogs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Lake Mburo is the only national park in Uganda where impalas occur naturally and is one of the few parks where zebras are commonly seen. Thereafter, checkout of your lodge and begin your scenic journey back to Kampala, passing through the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda.
En route, stop at the Uganda Equator for lunch, photographs, souvenir shopping, and the unique opportunity to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Kampala.
Arrive in Kampala in the evening, where you will be dropped off at the airport, marking the end of your memorable safari.
