Your adventure begins in Dar es Salaam, where you will board the modern Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) for a comfortable journey to Morogoro in the Business Class coach. Upon arrival at Morogoro Railway Station, your professional safari guide will meet you and transfer you by road to Mikumi National Park. After entering the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast Mkata Floodplain, often compared to the Serengeti for its open grasslands and abundant wildlife. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of antelope and bird species. Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After an early breakfast, set off on a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, Tanzania's fourth-largest national park and one of the most accessible wildlife destinations in the country. The park's expansive Mkata Floodplain, often compared to the Serengeti, provides excellent visibility, making wildlife viewing especially rewarding. Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, impalas, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of antelope species. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy spotting numerous resident and migratory birds. Throughout the day, your professional guide will share fascinating insights into animal behavior, conservation, and the park's unique ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to Camp Lilac in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
