Pick up from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha after breakfast and meet your professional safari guide for a briefing before beginning your journey to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant population, Tarangire offers an outstanding introduction to Tanzania's remarkable wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife.
Spend the day exploring the crater floor in search of the Big Five, including the endangered black rhinoceros, as well as elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and countless bird species.
The crater's lush grasslands, forests, and soda lake create one of Africa's most spectacular safari settings. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the beautiful surroundings before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, ascend the crater walls and return to Karatu for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu Activities to Arusha

Following breakfast, depart for the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, one of Tanzania's most culturally diverse communities. Enjoy a guided cultural tour through local farms, banana plantations, colorful markets, and artisan workshops while learning about the traditions and daily lives of the many ethnic groups that call the village home.

Depending on your interests, you may also enjoy a traditional local lunch and optional cycling or walking through the surrounding countryside.
