Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Nairobi. Travel southwest through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a scenic viewpoint before continuing towards Masai Mara.

Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head into the reserve for your first game drive. Search for elephants roaming the plains, lion prides resting beneath acacia trees, graceful giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and, with some luck, elusive leopards and cheetahs.

Return to camp before sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake before sunrise for an early morning game drive, one of the best times to witness predators returning from the night's hunt while herbivores begin grazing across the savannah. Enjoy the cool morning temperatures and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out. Begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon where you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.
