Depart Entebbe or Kampala for a scenic 6 to 7-hour drive to western Uganda. Stop at the Equator crossing for photos and the famous water experiment, followed by lunch in Mbarara. Drive past lush tea plantations and crater lakes as you enter Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take a short late afternoon game drive to spot elephants and buffaloes before checking into your lodge for dinner.

Sip an early morning coffee before heading into the Kasenyi plains for a game drive. This is prime hunting ground for lions and leopards, alongside herds of Uganda kobs and waterbucks. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat safari along the Kazinga Channel to see the world's highest concentration of hippos, giant crocodiles, and diverse water birds.

Afterward, continue the journey straight back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the late evening for your drop-off.
