After an early breakfast, head to the Nyungwe Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced park rangers, hike through one of Africa's oldest rainforests in search of habituated chimpanzees while spotting colorful birds, monkeys, orchids, and butterflies. Once you find the chimpanzees, spend one unforgettable hour observing their playful behavior in their natural habitat. After lunch, enjoy the famous Canopy Walk, suspended 70 meters above the forest floor, offering spectacular views of the rainforest and its wildlife. After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for registration and a briefing by park rangers. Begin your unforgettable trek through the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may last between 1 and 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once located, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. After receiving your Gorilla Trekking Certificate, return to the lodge for lunch before driving back to Kigali for an overnight stay.

Later, embark on a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you'll encounter large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants along the shoreline, and numerous water birds, including African fish eagles and kingfishers.
