Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide and receive a briefing about your adventure. Begin with a guided Kigali City Tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda's history and remarkable journey of reconciliation. If time permits, explore Kimironko Market or a local craft center before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, drive south to Nyungwe Forest National Park, passing Rwanda's beautiful rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, and relax while preparing for the next day's chimpanzee trekking experience.

After an early breakfast, head to the Nyungwe Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced park rangers, hike through one of Africa's oldest rainforests in search of habituated chimpanzees while spotting colorful birds, monkeys, orchids, and butterflies. Once you find the chimpanzees, spend one unforgettable hour observing their playful behavior in their natural habitat. After lunch, enjoy the famous Canopy Walk, suspended 70 meters above the forest floor, offering spectacular views of the rainforest and its wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda. The scenic drive takes you through the country's breathtaking landscapes, passing lush tea estates, scenic lakes, terraced hillsides, and vibrant rural communities. Stop along the way for lunch and photography as you admire Rwanda's beautiful countryside. Arrive in Musanze in the late afternoon and check into your luxury lodge overlooking the magnificent Virunga Volcanoes. Spend the evening relaxing as your guide briefs you on the following day's mountain gorilla trekking adventure.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for registration and a briefing by park rangers. Begin your unforgettable trek through the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may last between 1 and 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once located, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. After receiving your Gorilla Trekking Certificate, return to the lodge for lunch before driving back to Kigali for an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, depart Kigali for Akagera National Park, Rwanda's only savannah park and home to the Big Five. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive across the park's rolling plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife. Later, embark on a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you'll encounter large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants along the shoreline, and numerous water birds, including African fish eagles and kingfishers. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
