1-Day Full Day Wasini Island Blue Safari

Depart your Diani hotel early for the drive to Shimoni, arriving around mid-morning. Board a traditional dhow or motorized boat and cruise the Wasini Channel, keeping watch for pods of spinner and bottlenose dolphins. On arrival at Kisite Marine Park, gear up and slip into the crystal-clear water for guided snorkeling stops among vibrant coral gardens.

Sail on to Wasini Island for a late Swahili seafood lunch served overlooking the ocean. Afterwards, take a guided walk through Wasini village and the mangrove boardwalk to learn about local Swahili culture and coastal life, with an optional stop at the historic Shimoni Slave Caves. In the late afternoon, board the boat back to Shimoni for the drive back to your Diani hotel in time for sundowners.
