Upon arrival at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to begin your adventure. Drive to Rusizi National Park for a scenic boat safari along the Rusizi River, home to hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. In the afternoon, visit the shores of Lake Tanganyika, where you can relax, enjoy the beautiful views, and watch a stunning sunset over one of the world's deepest lakes.

After breakfast, depart for Gitega, Burundi's political capital and cultural center. Visit the famous Gishora Drum Sanctuary to witness a spectacular performance by the Royal Drummers and learn about the country's rich drumming traditions. Continue to the National Museum of Gitega to discover Burundi's history, culture, and royal heritage. Return to Bujumbura in the evening.

If time allows, stop at a local coffee shop to sample Burundi's renowned coffee before transferring to Melchior Ndadaye International Airport for your departure flight.
