Spend the day exploring the spectacular Kogatende region in Northern Serengeti, one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations. This area is world-famous for the Great Migration and the dramatic Mara River crossings, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras risk crossing crocodile-filled waters in search of greener grazing lands during the migration season. Your experienced safari guide will search for the best wildlife viewing opportunities while tracking the movement of the migration herds and resident animals. Throughout the day, you may encounter lions resting beneath acacia trees, elusive leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, topis, elands, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by the incredible wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive and returning to your Camp as the sun sets over the Serengeti.

Departing Kogatende and beginning your scenic journey south through the endless plains of Serengeti National Park toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive itself offers outstanding game-viewing opportunities as wildlife can often be spotted along the route, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and predators that thrive throughout the Serengeti ecosystem. As you continue your journey, admire the changing landscapes from open grasslands to the lush green highlands of Ngorongoro. Stop at scenic viewpoints to capture spectacular photographs of the surrounding wilderness before arriving at your camp located at Mto wa mbu in the late afternoon.
