Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or ferry terminal in Dar es Salaam for the journey to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a scenic boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you'll have the opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the riverbanks, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in one of Africa's largest protected wildlife areas. Mikumi National Park Game drive

Enjoy an early breakfast before spending the entire day exploring Mikumi National Park. Visit the famous Mkata Floodplain, where wildlife gathers throughout the day. Keep an eye out for lions resting under acacia trees, elephants roaming the plains, hippos in the pools, and a variety of colorful bird species.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Mikumi National Park before driving to Morogoro SGR Railway Station. Upon arrival, board the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) train for a comfortable journey to Dar es Salaam while enjoying the scenic countryside along the way.
Upon arrival at the Dar es Salaam SGR Station, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel or Julius Nyerere International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Southern Tanzania safari.
