Entebbe/Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala. Meet your professional safari guide and begin the journey north towards Murchison Falls National Park.

En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you'll walk through the sanctuary in search of southern white rhinos while learning about Uganda's successful rhino conservation program.

After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging over 40 meters into the river below. The thunderous roar and breathtaking scenery make this one of Uganda's most iconic attractions.

Later, proceed for dinner and relaxation.

Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, embark on an exciting morning game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park.

Explore the expansive savannah while searching for elephants, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Jackson's hartebeests, oribis, waterbucks, hyenas, and, if lucky, the elusive leopard. The park is also home to over 450 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.

Following lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat safari along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This unforgettable cruise offers excellent opportunities to observe large pods of hippos, giant Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds gathering along the riverbanks.

The boat cruise concludes near the base of the falls, providing spectacular views of the powerful waterfall before returning for dinner.
