At 2:00 PM, begin exploring the extraordinary Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, one of the world's greatest architectural and spiritual masterpieces and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the incredible churches carved directly into solid volcanic rock during the 12th and 13th centuries while learning about Ethiopia's ancient Christian history and remarkable engineering.

Following breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Amhara Highlands toward Bahir Dar. Along the way, visit a traditional Amhara village, where you'll experience authentic Ethiopian rural life, including traditional injera baking, homemade local beer preparation, and the famous Ethiopian coffee ceremony. After lunch and hotel check-in at Jacaranda Hotel, continue to the spectacular Blue Nile Falls (Tis Issat). Cross the Blue Nile River by local boat and admire one of Africa's most impressive waterfalls, whose waters eventually contribute nearly 70% of the Nile River flowing into Sudan and Egypt.

Following lunch and a short rest, transfer to Bahir Dar Airport for your evening flight to Addis Ababa, where you will connect with your international departure flight.
