Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and take memorable photos. Continue your journey to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari camp or lodge. After some time to relax, head out on an exciting afternoon game drive in search of the reserve's incredible wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and, with luck, leopards and rhinos. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. A visit to a traditional Maasai village is optional for an extra cost.

Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch. Explore different areas of the reserve in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and numerous antelope species. Your experienced driver-guide will share fascinating information about the wildlife, birdlife and ecosystem while taking you to the best wildlife viewing locations. During the Great Wildebeest Migration season, you may have the opportunity to witness dramatic river crossings. In the evening, return to your safari camp or lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay. A hot air balloon safari is optional for an extra cost.

Final Game Drive, Breakfast and Departure

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to your drop-off location, with a stop for lunch along the way.
