Your safari adventure begins in Nairobi, where your guide picks you up in your private 4x4 Land Cruiser for a scenic drive toward the Great Rift Valley, descending down the escarpment and stopping to admire the vast panoramic views before proceeding through Narok town. You will arrive at the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp, allowing you a brief period to settle in and unpack. In the late afternoon, when the equatorial heat begins to break, you head out for your inaugural game drive across the expansive, golden grasslands where you can expect to spot large herds of zebras and wildebeest, as well as your first glimpse of the Mara's legendary big cats before returning to camp for dinner as darkness falls.

Day 3

You will enjoy a final, early morning sunrise game drive to witness the savannah's predators active in the cool dawn air before returning to camp for a hearty breakfast and checking out. Boarding the Land Cruiser, you travel out of the Mara and journey back toward the Great Rift Valley floor to reach the serene shores of Lake Naivasha by lunchtime, checking into your resort nestled among yellow-fever acacia trees. The afternoon shifts focus to an aquatic safari as you board a small motorized boat to cruise the fresh waters, getting incredibly close to massive pods of hippos and tracking diving African fish eagles, followed by an optional guided walking safari on Crescent Island to walk directly alongside giraffes, waterbucks, and zebras, you will come back for overnight dinner and relax to your lodges.

Following a relaxed breakfast overlooking the lake, you leave the Rift Valley ecosystem behind and drive southeast, bypassing the Nairobi traffic corridor and as you push toward the border there will be a stop-over for quick lunch to Amboseli National Park. You will watch the landscape transform into dry, semi-arid plains, arriving at your safari camp in the afternoon just as the clouds surrounding Mount Kilimanjaro typically begin to clear. You will set out on an evening game drive, tracking wildlife through the dry dust plains where the dramatic low-angled sunlight paints the elephants and the distant snow-capped peak of the mountain in vibrant shades of gold and purple in the evening you will come back for overnight dinner and relaxation in your lodges.
